Which film or project you have worked on have you liked the most so far and why?

Michela Parlavecchio

I have had the opportunity to participate in film projects of various dimensions, and each one, for different reasons, has been an important part of my journey. The one I am particularly attached to is the short film “Una notte,” directed by Alessio Vasarin. It is a Frabiatofilm production that I followed through all stages, starting from development. It represented a major challenge for me; the first time I had to face the responsibility of realizing a film. It was an important moment of growth for my professional experience, although other projects were more elaborate and complex, this is the one I feel closest to.

How did you come to work in the film and media sector?

Michela Parlavecchio

I realized very early that I had a great passion for cinema, but I never imagined I would end up working in this field. Meeting the right people at the right time made me find myself in this world. Fortunate encounters, together with a touch of healthy recklessness, pushed me to start our production company twelve years ago with my partners. It was the beginning of a path marked by passion, mistakes, uncertainties, but also achievements and satisfaction. Over time, with dedication and continuous deepening, I managed to turn that passion into a real job.

In your opinion, what is the most important characteristic for someone working in this sector?

Michela Parlavecchio

Imagination, curiosity, and adaptability are fundamental. Working in the film industry requires flexibility, precision, empathy, and many transversal skills. For producers in particular, it is vital to know each production phase and deeply understand the role of each department. Only with these skills can one welcome the authors’ visions, interpret artistic needs, and coordinate the crew professionally. Cinema is a collective art; it needs harmony and a strong overall vision to become a good film.
