With an annual funding budget of 275,000 Euros, the IDM Film & Music Commission supports ambitious music projects across the entire realization process– from initial development and recording until the marketing phase. The goal is, to combine artistic quality with sustainable effects for the region. Eligible applicants include musicians, bands, producers, and companies in the music industry, providing projects that generate concrete added value in South Tyrol (at least 120% of the funding amount).
Two submission deadlines have been set for the current year. Please note these deadlines to submit your projects in time via the online portal:
- Call 1: April 28, 2026
- Call 2: September 29, 2026
Process and Consultation
The grant scheme is a de minimis aid. Important: an initial consultation before submitting the application is mandatory. Additionally, the Music Commission will gladly guide you through the entire process. The submitted projects will then be evaluated by an independent expert committee based on cultural, economic, and content-related criteria.
