From an early age, Muhammad Hannan Hamza developed a keen interest in filmmaking processes and practices, which he further cultivated through online courses in filmmaking and film business on the FutureLearn platform. This passion led him to pursue a Bachelor's degree in cinema-related subjects, during which he produced several short films. Notably, "AnimaMina" was screened at the Premio Sergio Amidei International Film Festival for Best Screenplay in Gorizia in 2021. Following his undergraduate studies, Hamza advanced his education through the International Masters in Cinema Studies (IMACS) program, a collaborative effort between the University of Udine, Stockholm University, and Goethe University Frankfurt am Main. His master's research focused on postcolonial cinema and neorealism within a global context. Beyond his academic and personal film projects, he has gained practical experience in the industry. He served as an Assistant Director at Tesla Productions in Gorizia. More recently, he has taken on the role of Associate Producer at Method S.r.l. since the beginning of this year. Additionally, he contributed as an Assistant Producer for Peter Zeitlinger's latest documentary feature film, which is currently in its post-production phase. In Italy, Muhammad Hannan Hamza also serves as an official intercultural mediator for the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
