Synopsis

THE LAST SUMMER takes place during a week of torrid heat in an old farm and its beautiful and im-posing central house, solidification of times of abundance that only belong to the past. The family is about to sell these lands but this is far from being a consensus. Francisca, the eldest sister, lives in the farm and is against selling it. Catarina, the second sister, comes from the city determined to close the deal and forget about the past. Susana, the daughter of the old maid of the house, comes back for one last summer to get her family's part. When a fire traps them in the farm, the three women will have to decide what to do with their lives under suffocating circumstances.
